Saskatchewan Country Closeup – Josh Stumpf

Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Josh Stumpf, is drawn to many different genres and songwriting styles including 80s style two-step, outlaw country and country rock. His latest single “That Song in This Truck” was penned by Joshua Stumpf, Andon Schumack and carries the full Cancon logo.
Josh has been playing live music for several years. He has participated in a multitude of festivals, including the Prince Albert Winter Festival and Gators Water/Ice Fest, and performed at venues such as the Prince Albert Exhibition Centre, Coors Event Centre, E.A. Rawlinson Centre, and Capitol Music Club.
In 2022, Josh started the highly successful Sunset Country Music Festival, which raises funds for charity each year, with friends and fellow artists. In 2022, Josh won the Prince Albert-based BOB Awards for Best Musician and Best Singer. Stumpf’s debut single Drink Me A Lullaby hit streaming platforms on September 22, 2023 and has since reached over 55K streams hitting number 1 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown.
