Injuries found in care home death

Despite nothing suspicious turning up at first, Prince Albert Police said that the death of a 38-year-old man is now being investigated by the Criminal Investigative Division.

Parkland Ambulance was called to a local care home on March 10, just before 10 p.m. to a call of the resident not breathing.

EMS were unable to revive him and pronounced him deceased at the scene.

While there were no alarm bells at the beginning, an autopsy on March 12 turned up injuries to the man’s body.

The death is now being investigated by police and the Coroner’s Service.
