Prince Albert Police say that a 25-year-old man is recovering in hospital from a gunshot wound following an incident in the 700 Block of 22nd Street East, near the Cooke Municipal golf course.

Officers were called at 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday for a weapons complaint. While responding, they got a second call saying a civilian was taking an injured man to the hospital.
