Teachers Federation announces more sanctions for Feb. 27
One day after announcing that job action would resume after the February break, the Saskatchewan Teachers Federation (STF) said more sanctions will be enforced on Tuesday.
In a news release, the STF said that rotating strikes, withdrawal of noon-hour supervision, and withdrawal of extracurricular activities will hit more school divisions on Feb. 27.
This comes after the union announced the withdrawal of noon-hour supervision and extracurricular activities for some divisions on Monday.
These job actions will take place on Tuesday, February 27 at locations throughout the province. By law, 48 hours’ notice is required for job action; however, the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is providing extra time to allow families to make necessary arrangements.
