Extreme cold leads to bus cancellations for P.A. and area

Once again, freezing temperatures forced many school bus cancellations in Prince Albert and surrounding areas.
The Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division (SRPSD) and Prince Albert Catholic Schools cancelled all bus routes as windchill plummeted below minus 40 Monday morning.
Buses were also cancelled for École Valois while Muskoday First Nation Community School implemented its cold weather strategy, cancelling classes for the day.
Despite the school bus cancellations, many schools in Prince Albert remain open.
