Tashina Autumn Child Bear was born on September 20, 1989, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on December 25, 2023, in Regina, SK, at the age of 34 years.

Tashina is survived by her loving family, her parents, Velma and Mathew; her siblings, Sheldon, Geraldine “Jer” “chi-chi,” Tamara “Gonzo” “chi-chi,” Tom “Tom the Bomb,” Tristan “Triss” (Jazmine), Taras “my baby,” Ovide, Ruby, Moise, Stanley, Carol, Kathy, Darcel; her godfather, Ralph Dorion; her aunts & uncles, Joseph Ballantyne, Hilda Ross, James, Bear, Joyce Tobar, Rose Bighetty, Delia Bear, Glenn Bear, Emile Bear, Roland Bear, Diane Bear, Valentina Charles, Mona Bear, Marie Rose Bear, Ann Bear, Yvonne Jarocki, Hilda Bear (Beverly, Sharon, Carol, and Darlene), Bernadette Young (Valerie, Melvin, Sidney, Karen, Rose, Jennifer); her cousins/siblings/friends, Paul, Marina, Norman “Doo-doots,” Glenda “Pretty,” Allannah “Banana,” Corrine, Jamie “Mr. Wadee,” Jordan, Amy “Amy Stew,” Joshua, Cheryl “Big C,” Beverly “Beffy,” Robin, Skyler, Morning-Star, Robert “Moses,” George “Sotch,” Noreen “Tuffy,” Ingrid, Giovanni, Alberto, Lyndon, Tammy, Kayla “Curly Jones,” Robert, Anthony, Gina “Boom Boom,” Kelly “Kel,” Nolan “Isaac,” Emmett “Waterfall,” Annikka “Annikka Roses,” Arthur, River, Eagle, Moise “MJ,” Philip, Tyler “Honker Donker,” Darcy “Darce,” Taryn “Atchineese,” Heidi “Heidi Ho,” Lorenzo, Lyah, Nathan, Clayton, Marilyn “Mare,” Mitch, Blake, Kaylyn “Kay,” Brooke, Forest, Keaton, Clinton “Mr. Bean,” Tianna, Adelaide, and her other cousins from her Morin family; her nieces & nephews, Tyrell, Kayden, Preston, Freedom Moon, Prestley, Marek, Carter, Maliik, Clay, Genevieve “Pretty,” Jason “Baby J,” Gracie, Matthew, Dawade, Dylaynie; as well as her countless nieces and nephews from her cousins and siblings on her dad’s side, all of whom she cherished and loved; her godchildren, Gracie and Freedom Moon.

She was predeceased by her grandparents; her brother, John Paul; her sisters, Josephine “Stinker” Stewart, Yvonne; her godmother, Ernestine Ray; numerous loved ones, too many to mention.

The Prayer Service for Tashina will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Maggie Hunter officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK; continued Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Kateri Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI, officiating. Interment to follow at the Sandy Bay Cemetery.
