P.A. Police looking for second vehicle that allegedly caused crash that injured five people

Nov 21, 2023 | 5:17 PM

More details are being shared by Prince Albert Police with respect to an incident in the city’s Crescent Heights area last weekend that was initially described as a single motor vehicle collision.

The investigation has confirmed a second vehicle was involved. Suspects from the second vehicle discharged a firearm that resulted in an injury to the driver of the first vehicle. This injury caused the driver to lose control resulting in the collision.

The suspect vehicle fled from the scene. The 22-year-old driver remains in hospital recovering from his injuries.

Police didn’t initially report a firearm being involved to protect the integrity of the investigation.

There is evidence that shows the victim and suspects are known to each other and this was not a random act.

Police don’t believe there is a risk to public safety.

They are now trying to find the suspect vehicle described as a newer model red four-door GMC with a black tonneau cover and black box rails.
