It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Simon Junior Denechezhe, late of Wollaston Lake, SK on November 7^th, 2023, at the age of 31 years. Simon was born on October 5^th, 1992, to Florence and Simon Denechezhe in Saskatoon, SK. Simon will be lovingly remembered by his companion Janelle Joseyounen; his children: Noah (Dave), S-Jay, & Rylan; his parents Florence & Simon Denechezhe; his brother Ricky Denechezhe; his sisters Florentina Denechezhe (Coby), & Karina Denechezhe (Kurt); his nieces & nephews Colten, Cowen, Johnny, Carson, James & Jayla; his in-laws Toby (Jane) Joseyounen & family; his aunts & uncles Joseph, Jean Marie, Angus, Joe (Irene), Elizabeth, Alex (Jana), Adam, Sophie, Charlie, Joseph, Madeline, & Patrick; his friends Joseph, Lucy, Jacob, Michael, Jacinta, Leroy, Issac, Roland, Arnold, Billy, Josh, Keldon, Keith, Lucus, Paulissa, all his fishing & hunting buddies, poker buddies, as well as many friends all over; as well as numerous family and friends. Simon was predeceased by his brothers James & Johnny; his grandparents Albert (Bernadette) Sha’Oulle, Abel (Josephine) Denechezhe, & Marie Sha’Oulle; & his cousins Marcus Denechezhe & Joe Sha’Oulle. A Visitation Service will be held Thursday, November 9^th, 2023, from 9-10 AM at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Prince Albert, SK.  A Wake Service will be commencing November 9^th, 2023, at the residence of Janelle Joseyounen in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, November 13^th, 2023, at 2 PM at the St. Adrian Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji Chandamala. The Honourary Pallbearers are Ricky, Joseph, Leroy, Lucus, Michael, Roland, Arnold, Issac, Sheldon, Jacob, Derreck, Keith, and all those who shared in Simon’s life. The Pallbearers are Joseph Sha’Oulle, Lucus Besskkaystare, Jean Marie Sha’Oulle, Issac Besskkaystare, Angus Sha’Oulle, Joey Sha’Oulle, Alec Sha’Oulle, Joe Sha’Oulle, Adam Sha’Oulle, & Joewin Sha’Oulle. The Interment will take place at the Wollaston Lake Cemetery in Wollaston Lake, SK.
