The family of Ida Ann Bolton (nee Zatrepalek), late of Canwood, SK are saddened to announce her passing on October 29^th, 2023, in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 84 years. Ida was born July 22^nd, 1939, in Broderick, SK to Emily & Joseph Zatrepalek. Ida married Bruce Victor Bolton on January 18^th, 1964, and they built a life in Saskatoon, SK with their children. Once Bruce retired, they moved to Canwood, SK where they both spent the remainder of their time (aside from annual trips to Arizona for the winter).

Ida enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, and other such fabric crafts as well as gardening. She had a wonderful flower garden, with her favorite flower – the lily – featured predominantly. Ida was a dedicated Christian who aided in the humanitarian efforts of her faith.

Ida is survived by her children Earl (Ronda) Bolton and Corrine Bolton; her grandchildren Paige (Tyler) Janzen, Nicholas Bolton, Jamie (Collin Vandeven) Bolton, Victoria (Stephen Bealing) Lustig, and Sean (Faith Punsalan) Lustig; her great-grandchildren Olivia and Malcolm; her siblings, her extended family, and friends.

Ida was predeceased by her husband Bruce, her parents Emily (Puymon) and Joseph Zatrepalek, her sister Georgina (Zatrepalek) Munchinski, and her brother Dennis Zatrepalek.

Ida’s family would like to thank the first responders and medical staff at Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK for their efforts.

The Interment for Ida will be held on Friday, November 17^th, 2023, at 11 AM at The Hillcrest Cemetery in Saskatoon, SK. In lieu of flowers, Ida’s family invites you to donate to either the Boreal Healthcare Foundation, a charity of your choice, or to plant and tend lilies in your home garden.
