Irene Gertrude McDonald was born on June 16, 1945, in Island Falls, SK, and passed away on November 3, 2023, in Sandy Bay, SK, at the age of 78 years.

Irene is survived by her loving family, her husband of 63 years, Ralph McDonald; her sons, Ronald (Jane), Charlie, Mike, Walter; her daughters, June (Romuald), Beverly, Ruby, Tammy; her sister, Adele Morin; her brother, Ervin Fiddler (Debbie); her best friend, Gladys Michel; her godchildren, Leo Merasty Jr., Sharon Morin, Reanne Bighetty, Tom Merasty, Darrell Merasty, Sheila Morin; her sister-in-law, Shirley (Natewayes) Knight; her Niece, Kayla Shingler; her grandchildren, Travis, Leo, Dorothy, Bobby, Janice, Amanda, Beatrice, Kosty, Dawn, Mylee, Pearl, Tavia, Paige, Paizlyn, Mikisew; 45 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was predeceased by her children, Jason, Arnold, Ruby, Baby Elizabeth, Baby Girl; her mother, Elizabeth Fiddler; her father, Maglore Natewayes; her brothers, Melvin, Roy; her sisters, Marylou, Jean, Mary, Susan Colomb; her grandchildren, Jarvis, Cyrstle; her sister-in-law, MaryAnn, Mary Jane, Marie, Judy, Victoria, Gloria Natewayes; her brothers-in-law, John, Louie, James, Charlie, Harry Morin Sr., Peter Head Sr.; her numerous nieces and nephews.

The Prayer Service for Irene will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on the evening on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at the residence of Ralph and Irene McDonald, in Sandy Bay, SK, and Thursday, November 9, 2023, at the Garry Morin Memorial Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 10, 2023 at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI officiating.
