Blades explode in third period to beat Raiders again
The Prince Albert Raiders can’t seem to solve the Saskatoon Blades this season.
Trailing 3-2 to the Blades after two periods Thursday night at the Art Hauser Centre, the Raiders gave up four goals in the third period to fall 7-2. It was the third straight loss for the Raiders against Saskatoon this season and by far the most lopsided defeat to their rivals. The two teams will meet 10 times this season.
Belarusian forward Egor Sidorov led the way for the visitors with a goal and an assist and was named the game’s first star.
Ryder Ritchie and Brayden Dube scored for the Raiders.
