Teen charged in hit-and-run, victim still in hospital

A 19-year-old man is police custody in connection with a collision in the Art Hauser parking lot yesterday morning.

Prince Albert Police charged Bryson McCallum with dangerous driving causing bodily harm and failing to stay at the scene of an accident.

McCallum made his first appearance this morning in Provincial Court and will be back on October 30.

Officers also said the incident was not random.

The 21-year-old victim was found in the arena parking lot at about 2 am on Thursday but there was no vehicle around. He was then taken to hospital by ambulance.
