1956 – 2023
On September 26, 2023, Nadine Joyce Walter went to Heaven to be with her God, Jesus Christ, after a short battle with cancer.
Nadine was born in Saskatoon on May 26, 1956 and raised on the family farm near Kenaston, SK. She worked in forestry where she met her husband Bruce, and they married on May 22, 1982. God blessed them with 3 sons who were raised in Prince Albert.
Nadine loved children which lead her to be an Educational Assistant for many years until she retired in 2019, the same year as her husband. She taught Sunday school for many years to young children. She loved walking, participating in sports, gardening, landscaping, baking, sewing, God’s creation, gospel music, reading scripture and spending time with family.
Nadine is survived by her family: husband Bruce Walter; 3 sons, Aaron (Hillary), Josh and Curtis (Ayden); and her 4 grandchildren, Sophia, Luke, Caleb and Clementine. She is also survived by her siblings Rose Matovich, Jim (Wendy) Matovich, Veronica (Linton) Crawford, Alfred (Diane) Matovich, Barb (Walter) Sagen; sisters-in-law Paulette Matovich and Beth Matovich; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Nadine is predeceased by her parents Martin and Elizabeth Matovich, and her brothers Francis and Raymond.
A Celebration of Nadine’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, 2023, at Prince Albert Alliance Church, 2777 6th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held privately at a later date with immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nadine may be made to a charity of your choice.
