Charlotte Margaret Bear (nee McCallum) was born on November 11, 1937, in Southend, SK, and passed away on September 27, 2023, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 85 years.

Charlotte is survived by her loving family, her common-law spouse, William Irvin; her children, Richard (Mary) McCallum, Kathy (Walter) Bear, Susie Sanderson, Noland Bear, Oliver (Diane) Bear, Kenneth Bear, Kennedy (Sharon) Bear, Donald (Bonnie) Bear; her son-in-law, Dennis Sanderson; her siblings, Jane Glennon, Angie Jobb, Diane Bear, Doris McCallum; numerous grandchildren and chapans.

She was predeceased by her parents, Richard & Alice McCallum; her husband, Cyril Bear; her infant son, Bernard Bear; her siblings, Oliver McCallum, William McCallum, John McCallum, Rose McKenzie, Suzette Jacobs; her grandson, Richard Bear.

The Wake Service for Charlotte will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Bernard Constant School Gym, in James Smith Cree Nation; the Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Bernard Constant School Gym, in James Smith Cree Nation, with Rev. Wilfred Sanderson. Interment to follow at St. Stephen’s Cemetery, in James Smith Cree Nation.
