Garry is survived by his loving family, his loving wife of 33 years, Marylee Bear; his daughter, Karissa (Darryl); his sons, Gary Jr. (Sasha), River (Marcia), Winter (Hailee), Tanner (Shaina), Packer, Forest (Caylee), Skyler, Daytona; his grandchildren, Trenton, Kalyn, Creedance, Bentley, Bryson, River Jr., Jaxon, Benson, Colt, Camilla, Brody, Winter Jr., Brooklyn, Anna, Obie, Mikey, Kensley, Lainey, Deja, Essence, Amorah; his brothers and sisters, Nola “Mom” (Fred), Yollanda (Randy), Alfred, Gladys (Willie), Mike, Kathy (George), Pearl, Helen (Raymond), Laura McDonald, Beverly, Sharon, Carol, Darlene; his step-mother, Hilda Bear; his father-in-law, Clifford Ray; his special nephew, Preston Linklater; his special niece, Priscilla Bear; numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives in Pukatawagan, MB, La Ronge, SK, Prince Albert, SK, Sandy Bay, SK, and Saskatoon, SK.

He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Mary Bear; his grandparents, Harriet, Moise, Helen Switzer, Neil McDonald; his brothers, John E. Bear, Neil Bear, Charles Bear; his mothers-in-law, Virginia M.H. Ray, Elizabeth Morin.

The Prayer Service for Garry will be held at 1:00 pm., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the residence of Garry Bear, in Sandy Bay, SK; continued Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI, officiating.
