Remove bins from street after pickup: Bylaw
The Prince Albert Police Service bylaw division has a friendly reminder when it comes to garbage bins in the city.
Bylaw Manager Suzanne Stubbs, said timing is important when putting out your garbage bins.
“Once collection is done you have until noon the following day to move it back to your private property,” she said. “It’s just important that you remove it for safety reasons — people can’t use your bins (and) people can’t damage your bins.”
Stubbs added bins cannot be put out on the street before 4 p.m. the day leading up to garbage collection and that bins should be in place no later than 7:30 a.m. because pickup begins at 8 a.m.
