Gerald St. Germain

Gerald Joseph St. Germain was born on August 24, 1955, in a tent in Crutwell, Saskatchewan. Gerald passed away on August 22, 2023, two days before his 68th birthday after a courageous battle with cancer. Gerald was a father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honour his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Gerald was a retired truck driver, painter, roofer and jack of all trades. He was always outdoors doing anything he could get his hands on. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Gerald by sitting by the river fishing taking in the sun and fresh air.

Gerald is survived by his 3 children, son, Jody Labelle (Dawn Leslie) and their children, Koltin, Reece & Gavin; daughter, Nicole Quinton-Sauer, and her children, Alyssa, Isaac, Carter, Jakob, Noah, Blaze, great-grandchildren, Ariyia & Bella; daughter, Cheryl Cherneski (Mike) and her children, Colby & Josh. His brothers, Kenny, Larry (Irene), Randy (Debbie), Dewayne (Charmaine), Ronnie (Ruby), Gary (Tena). His sisters, Shiela & Sharon. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends and his special friend, Mae Dawn.

He was predeceased by his loving parents, Emery & Alida St. Germain; his siblings, Denis Parenteau, Shirley, Diane & Frieda St. Germain; his grandparents, Jean Baptise & Louise Parenteau, Joseph & Margaret St. Germain.

A Public Viewing will be held for Gerald from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. As per Gerald’s wishes there will be a private family graveside service at a later date.
