Three people injured after multiple vehicle collisions in Prince Albert

Aug 15, 2023 | 5:00 PM

Three people in Prince Albert were recently treated at the Victoria Hospital after being hit by vehicles in separate collisions.

The first happened on Aug. 9 when a cyclist was hit at the intersection of 21st Street East and Fifth Avenue East. According to Parkland Ambulance, they suffered minor injuries but were still transported to the hospital.

The vehicle also sustained minor damage but was able to be driven away.

The second incident happened on Aug. 10. A vehicle struck someone in the 800 Block of 15th Street East.

The Prince Albert Fire Department, which responded to the incident, said the pedestrian was injured and transferred to the hospital by EMS. P.A. police confirm the person, a 23-year-old man, suffered non-life threatening injuries but was eventually transferred to the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon.

Just like the first incident, the vehicle involved suffered damage but was able to drive away once the situation was cleared.

The third incident took place the following day on Aug. 11, also happening on 15th Street East but in the 600 Block.

EMS ended up transporting the person to the hospital. They reportedly also suffered minor injuries.

Parkland Ambulance say they aren’t 100 per cent sure whether they’ve all been released from the hospital.
