It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Suzanne Joseyounen, late of Wollaston Lake, SK on August 9^th, 2023, at the age of 94 years. Suzanne was born in Brochet, MB on April 11^th, 1929, to Sally & Solomon Cook. Suzanne will be lovingly remembered by her children Toby & Jane Joseyounen, Sophie Joseyounen, Gabriel & Agnes Joseyounen, Sylvia Jean Tsannie, Angelique & Joseph Kasagan, & Napoleon Joseyounen, Solomon (Annie) Joseyounen; her 58 grandchildren; her 170 great-grandchildren; her 64 great-great-grandchildren; her 4 great-great-great-grandchildren; her siblings Florence Clarke, Audrey Radke, Joe Cook, Isadore Cook, Eva & Angus McKenzie, Jack & Beatrice Cook, & Theresa & Raymond Morin; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband Joseph Joseyounen; her children Sally, Alex, Adam, Napoleon, Philip Hart, & Rupert (Bob); her grandchildren Freda, Gabriel, Tom, 2 @ Infancy, & Jean; her great-grandchildren Freya, Maximus, & Kevin; her parents Sally & Solomon Cook, Genevieve & Marie; her siblings Rosalie & George Michel, Esther & Joe Bear, Virginia & Philip Clarke, Maggie & Martin Josie, & Alex & Florence Cook; her in-laws Alphonse Morin, Linda Cook, Bella Cook, Micheal Clarke, & Solomon Cook. A Wake Service will be commencing Friday, August 11^th, 2023, at the residence of Sylvia Tsannie in Wollaston Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 14^th, 2023, at 2 PM at St. Adrian’s Roman Catholic Church in Wollaston Lake, SK. The Officiant will be Father Joji. The Honourary Pallbearers are the people who knew Susan from Southend, Brochet, Lac Brochet, Black Lake, Wollaston Lake, and surrounding communities. The Pallbearers were Gabriel Joseyounen, Abraham Joseyounen, Toby Joseyounen, Alex Joseyounen, Solomon Joseyounen, Junior Tsannie, Joe Cook, Adam Joseyounen, Isadore Cook, Brian Joseyounen, Jack Cook, & William Roberts. The Interment will take place at the Hatchet Lake Cemetery in Hatchet Lake, SK.
