Yvette Marie Diana Gareau, of Rosthern, SK, formerly of Duck Lake, SK passed away in Saskatoon on August 5, 2023. She was born to Antoine and Julie-Anne Gareau on December 4, 1945, in the Bellevue district, SK. She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Rita Marchand, Albert (Céline) Gareau, Suzanne (Raul) Teles, Roger (Louisa) Gareau, Ronald Gareau, Hubert (Denise) Gareau, Marina Patty and Alain (Barbara) Gareau; numerous nieces and nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and many special friends. She was predeceased by her: parents, Antoine and Julie Anne (Gaudet/Gareau/Cyr) Gareau; sisters Marie, Rolande, and Simone; brother François; brother-in-law Albert Marchand; and stepfather Antonio Cyr. Yvette had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. She was a devoted registered nurse and remained steadfastly committed to faith and family. A Prayer Service will be held Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 7:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Fahlman on Monday, August 14, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. Both services will take place at St. Odilon Roman Catholic Church, 3004 Saskatchewan Street, Rosthern, SK. Following the Mass and the funeral lunch, interment will take place at St. Isidore de Bellevue Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue, SK.
