Kenneth Allan Jacques, late of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 68 years. 

 

Ken was born on December 25, 1954, in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, where he met the love of his life, Rozeanne Kostiuk. Ken and Rozeanne were married for 42 years. Ken worked for the City of Prince Albert for 34 years, and enjoyed his time there. After retiring in 2008, Ken and Rozeanne moved to Hudson Bay, where they enjoyed living and made new friendships. 

 

Ken lived a peaceful life and enjoyed spending his time outdoors, whether it be fishing, taking photos of nature and wildlife, or going for long walks. He would always send the photos he took to his siblings and friends, and he loved to bond with them this way. Ken enjoyed building puzzles and was an avid animal lover. 

 

Ken was the oldest of five children, and was a wonderful big brother. He always made time for us and made sure to keep in touch. We will always cherish the text message conversations and laughs that came with them. 

 

Ken will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his wife, Rozeanne; his parents, Donald and Angeline Jacques; his sister, Donna Jacques; his sister, Carol Gordon; his brother, Keith Jacques; his sister, Diane (Perry) Radke; his sister-in-law, Dianne (Brad) Tiedeman; numerous nephews and nieces; and his special friends, Barry and Edie Goy. Ken was predeceased by his grandparents, Emile and Florence Jacques; his grandparents, Leon and Marie Jeanette Short; and his niece, Sarah Gordon.
