Raiders deal Ludwig to Wenatchee Wild
The Prince Albert Raiders made a trade Friday afternoon, sending left winger Gabe Ludwig to the Wenatchee Wild in exchange for an 8th-round pick in 2027.
The Eagle River, AK product was acquired by P.A. midway through last season as a part of the Nolan Allan trade, which saw the Raiders send Allan and prospect Reese Shaw to Seattle for Ludwig, Braden Dube, Easton Kovacs, and six draft picks.
During his time in Hockeytown North, Ludwig potted two goals and collected seven assists in 37 games. Prior to joining Prince Albert, he was drafted by the Thunderbirds in the second round of the 2019 draft and spent parts of three seasons in Seattle.
The Raiders will face off against the Wild during their U.S. Division road trip on Nov. 19. The Green and Gold kick off their 2023-24 campaign on Sept. 22 against the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Art Hauser Centre.
