Prince Albert Police said the search warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into the city’s second homicide of the year which occurred on July 22.

Three people were found in the home: an 18-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant for being unlawfully at large; a man and woman were also detained and later released with no charges. Police said no arrests were made for the homicide.

The Saskatoon Police Service Tactical Support Unit and their Armoured Rescue Vehicle also assisted with the warrant execution.
