A man facing charges that include attempted murder and aggravated assault, is back behind bars.

The Prince Albert RCMP and the Saskatchewan RCMP Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) said they found Waylon Daniels on Wednesday morning and was arrested later in the afternoon without incident at a home on Muskoday First Nation.

In addition to the above mentioned charges, Daniels is also charged with careless transport of a firearm, possession of dangerous weapon, possess firearm without a licence, and possess firearm in a motor vehicle.

They all have to do with an incident that happened in Saskatoon last November.

A 15-year-old girl was walking in the area of 20th St. W. and Ave. Q S. with her family when a white sedan with multiple people inside pulled up next to the victim and shot her.

At the time, the teenage girl was transported to hospital for treatment of her non-life-threatening injuries.

Last January, Daniels was one of two men charged after a standoff and robbery at Muskoday.

He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
