It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Summer Dawn Naytowhow, late of Sturgeon Lake, SK on June 27^th, 2023, at the age of 30 years. Summer was born in Prince Albert, SK on May 19^th, 1993, to Cynthia Prosper and Melvin Naytowhow. Summer will be lovingly remembered by her children Drake Naytowhow, & Saphira Naytowhow; her parents Cynthia Prosper & Melvin Naytowhow; her siblings Scotty Naytowhow (Tracy Johnson), Jordan Naytowhow, Jordy Naytowhow, Violet Naytowhow, Sabrina Naytowhow, & Amber Naytowhow (Dwayne Shepard); her niece Isabella; her nephews Eddison, Dominic, Bryson, & Stephen; her grandpa Joe Romanchuk; her kokums Doris Bird, & Wanda Prosper; as well as numerous family and friends. Summer was predeceased by her moshom Peter Naytowhow; her kokum Kathleen Prosper; her uncle Rudy Naytowhow; her cousin Peter Naytowhow; as well as numerous family and friends. A Wake Service will be commencing Saturday, July 1^st, 2023, at 5 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Funeral Service was held Monday, July 3^rd, 2023, at 2 PM at the Sturgeon Lake Community Center in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiant was Rodger Bird. The Honourary Pallbearers were Hector Moosehunter, Brittany Roberts, Bubba (Bradford Ermine), Shannon Williams, Vanessa Turner, Roberta Masuskapoe, Jordan Naytowhow, and all those who shared in Summer’s life. The Pallbearers are Jerrid Naytowhow, David Naytowhow, Scotty Naytowhow, Justine Naytowhow, Abrey Naytowhow, & Devin Naytowhow. The Interment will take place at the Far West Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK.
