P.A. schools and non-profits benefit from provincial grant funding
Several schools and non-profit groups are getting a helping hand thanks to thousands of dollars in grants from the Community Initiatives Fund (CIF).
The CIF is a special-purpose fund created by the Government of Saskatchewan.
It receives a portion of the net revenues from casinos Regina and Moose Jaw via the Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation and redistributes them to organizations across the province.
This year, the CIF is handing out $4.5 million to support 353 projects in Saskatchewan, 13 of those projects are in Prince Albert.
