John is survived by his loving family, his children, Myra (Trevor), Calista, Nicholas, Donovan, Wilfred, John Henry, Angelique Canada; his grandchildren, Ramsey, Trevor-John, Julianne, Brianne, Stephanie, Thomas, Denise, Joy, Selena, Paris, Lila, Kyra, Francis, Jaymis, Alana, Kecia; his chapans, Jean, Gracelyn, Acelynn; his wife, Martha; his brothers and sisters, John, Lucia, Ronnie, Lisa, Lizette, Johnny, Gordon, Josephine, Flora Jean, Moses; his cousin, Victoria; his nephew, Daniel Moise; his best friends, John Leo Jobb, Dennis Cook; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, Solomon & Catherine (nee Custer) Moise; his brothers and sisters, Emily Morin, Rachel Mercredi; his aunt & uncle, Caroline & John Bird; his in-laws, Moise & Adaline Canada; his grandchildren, Rayanne Thomas, Raylyne; his best friend, James Sewap; his cousins, Henry, Raymond, Peter, Caroline; his uncles, Roddrick Custer and Jack Custer.

The Prayer Service for John will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held Thursday, June 8, 2023, at the residence of Moses Bird, in Southend, SK; continued Friday, June 9, 2023, at the Southend Band Hall. The Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Southend Cemetery, with Moses Bird and Pastor Vern Allan officiating.
