Andrew Brideau
1986 ~ 2023
With broken hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Andrew Raymond Brideau, on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the young age of 36 years. Proud father of Keiren (Danielle), Sophia and Andrew Jr (Elena). Beloved son of Deborah and Thomas (predeceased). Andrew will be missed by many extended family, including his siblings, Ashley (Kris), Joseph, Jennafer, Amanda, Montana and Robin (Daniel). Many loving memories will be cherished with his nephews and nieces, Constance, Carter, Mckenzie, Tristin, Chloe, Tyler, Kalin and Ivan.
Andrew was born in Edmonton, Alberta, from there he grew up in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Growing up Andrew spent his time skateboarding and playing hockey. Andrew was an Oilers fan since before he could walk. Some of his best memories were spent watching oilers games with his dad. He passed on this tradition to his own children. Andrew made his life in Northbay, Ontario, where he completed the welding program in 2015 at Canadore College. Andrew was proud of his career. He had found his passion in welding, but his purpose in life was being a father. Andrew was an amazing father and his dream was to provide his children with all the opportunities life could offer.
A limb has fallen from the family tree, I keep hearing a voice that says “Grieve not for me.” Remember the best times, the laughter, the joy, the good life I lived while I was strong.
If you know someone struggling with mental health or addiction, remember and honor Andrew by offering to help and let them know they are not alone.
A private celebration of life will be held with family on June 11, 2023. Online condolences may be left at https://www.arbormemorial.ca/en/riverpark/obituaries/andrew-brideau/103144 . Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, (306) 764-2727, Lisa Bos-Atchison, Funeral Director.
