William Jean Favel Sr. was born on July 5, 1953, in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK, and passed away on April 21, 2023, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 69 years.

William is survived by his loving family, his children, William Jr. (Joni) Favel, Colleen Favel, Charlotte Merasty, Hermaline McCallum; his sister, Alice Woods; his sister-in-law, Doreen Favel; his brothers, Jim (Marie) Favel, George (Pauline) Favel; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Velna Favel; mother of his children, Helena Merasty; his parents, Jack and Flora Favel; his daughter, Tanya Favel; his siblings, Mary (Daniel) Montgrand, Joseph (Rosaline) Favel, Jonas (Christine) Favel, Norman (Elizabeth) Favel, Donald Favel, Antoinette Favel; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Wake Service for William will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the SEC, in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, in Ile-a-la-Crosse, SK.
