Pikes swim to successful weekend at provincial championship

The province’s best artistic swim teams were gathered in Regina this past weekend, and a team from Prince Albert made a few waves.

All four athletes from the Pikes Artistic Swimming Club had strong performances at the Sadie Caulder Knight Provincial Championship and competed in several events including figures/skills and solo routines.

Pillar Galbraith finished first for her routine (Novice Solo), and first in championship scores.

Nevie Chamakese won silver for her routine (Youth Limited Solo), and first in championship scores.

Paisley Gane (U12) finished third in routine (Limited Solo), and second in championship scores.

Aaliyah Sander (U12) finished second in routine (Limited Solo) and third in championship scores.

All four athletes were coached by Ana Rodea.

The Prince Albert Pikes team features athletes from ages four and up, including those in recreational and competitive streams.
