Forest fire in Nipawin

A bush fire Southeast of Nipawin Sunday, turned into a scary experience for some adults and kids.
According to an RCMP news release, two adult men and six children became lost in an area with heavy smoke 30 kilometers Northeast of Arborfield.
The Carrot River Fire Department and SERM officers were called out and helped them make it out of the bush. All were safe and uninjured.
RCMP are recommending that people refrain from entering the forest at this time because of a fire and smoke risk.
