Kali Lynn Ozmun

It is with heavy hearts that Bruce Ozmun and his family share the news of the passing of Kali Lynn, eldest daughter of Bruce and Patti-Lynn Ozmun (nee Skaar). Kali, age 37, ended her long and courageous battle with cancer the morning of March 29, 2023, in the Victoria Union Hospital, in Prince Albert, SK surrounded by family and a family friend.
Kali was born at the Holy Family Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, and grew up south of Prince Albert on the Ozmun family farm. Kali attended kindergarten and elementary classes at Osborne School, a rural school 13 kms south of Prince Albert. Kali then attended Carlton Comprehensive High School in Prince Albert. Following high school Kali worked at part-time employment, residing in Prince Albert and later, for a time in Saskatoon.
Kali loved animals, in particular their dogs and cats, and devoted much of her time to their care and play. She and her mom, especially, shared affection for their family dog named Whisper. Kali loved her family and was proud of her nephew Jayden and her fun-loving little niece Blakely.
Kali is survived by her father Bruce Ozmun; her sister Krista Ozmun (Shaun Fenner); her nephew Jayden; her niece Blakely; & her birth daughter Tessa Ozmun.
Kali was predeceased by her mother Patti-Lynn Ozmun (January 28, 2021); her grandparents Vern (Fern) Ozmun; & Lester (Phyllis) Skaar.
The family would like to send their sincere gratitude of thanks to the Royal University Hospital and Cancer Center in Saskatoon, SK as well as the Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK for their ongoing kind and compassionate care of Kali during these past fifteen months.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 3rd, 2023, at 2:00 PM at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Prince Albert, SK.
