Josephine Marcella Stewart “JoJo” “Stinker” was born on December 28, 1975, in Flin Flon, MB, and passed away on March 17, 2023, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 47 years.

Josephine is survived by her loving family, her children, Arlen, Phoenix, and Chase; her adopted children, Kiefer Whitehead, Lewis Carriere, Desmond Thompson; her godchildren, Nolan Bear, Dakota Bighetty, Brielle LaFontaine, Kayla Ballantyne; her fur babies, Top Gun, Meeso, Moochee, Jasper, Oreo; her mother, Joyce Tobar; her other mothers, Velma Bear and Hilda Ross; her aunties, Rose Bighetty, Delia Bear, Diane Bear, Valentine Charles (Geremy), Jane McDonald (Ronald), Rita Ray, Louisa Sewap (Darrell), Beatrice Ballantyne (Allan), Lenore Stewart; her uncles, Joseph Ballantyne, James Bear, Glenn Bear (Marie-Rose), Emile Bear, Roland Bear, Philip Stewart (Mary), Kosty Stewart (Dora); her sisters and brothers, Robert Stewart, George Stewart, Noreen Stewart, Giovanni Tobar, Ingrid Tobar, Lyndon Tobar, Taras Bear, Alberto Tobar; her best friends, Vicky Daniels, Bernadette “Birdie” Anaskon, Deanna “Nano” Stewart; her special sisters, Marina Dumas, Glenda Kerr, Geraldine Bear, Tamara Bear, Amy “Stew” Ballantyne, Corine Ballantyne, Nicole Stewart, Tara Bridges-Colomb; her special niece, Allanah Tobar; and also her Sewap family; numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. She was predeceased by both her maternal and paternal grandparents; her dad, Joseph Stewart; her baby sister, Lavonna Tobar; her cousin and childhood buddy, Robert Morin; her special friend, Fernand Sewap.

The Prayer Service for Josephine will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on March 21, 2023 and March 22, 2023, at the Multipurpose Building, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Father Heinner Paucar, OMI officiating.
