Additional SaskTel service outage scheduled in northwest

UPDATE: All SaskTel services were restored by 6:00 am in and around the communities of Beauval, Buffalo Narrows, Clearwater River Dene Nation, Dillon, Green Lake, Île-à-la-Crosse, La Loche, Patuanak, Saint George’s Hill, Sled Lake, Waterhen River, and Waterhen Lake First Nation.

SaskTel will have a second service outage in northwest Saskatchewan this week.

The Crown corporation performed emergency maintenance on a transport network earlier this week but noticed a damaged section of cabling that will require further maintenance and another service outage.

From midnight to 6 a.m. there will be no SaskTel internet, wireless and landline services. The services will be unavailable in Beauval, Buffalo Narrows, Clearwater River Dene Nation, Dillon, Green Lake, Île-à-la-Crosse, La Loche, Patuanak, Saint George’s Hill, Sled Lake, Waterhen River, and Waterhen Lake First Nation.
