Northwest communities have planned SaskTel outage starting at midnight

Phone and internet services in multiple communities in Northwest Saskatchewan will be unavailable for SaskTel customers, starting at midnight.

The planned outage will continue until 6 a.m. March 7, said a news release from SaskTel.

Beauval, Buffalo Narrows, Clearwater River Dene Nation, Dillon, Green Lake, Île-à-la-Crosse, La Loche, Patuanak, Saint George’s Hill, Sled Lake, Waterhen River, and Waterhen Lake First Nation will all be affected.

Crews will be performing emergency maintenance on the transport network.

If you require police service during this outage, you are advised by the RCMP to go to your nearest RCMP detachment.

  • La Loche RCMP is located at 1D La Loche Avenue in La Loche.
  • Buffalo Narrows RCMP is located at 300 Pederson Avenue in Buffalo Narrows.
  • Dillon RCMP is located at 218 Sylvestre Street on Buffalo River Dene Nation.
  • Ile a la Crosse RCMP is located at Parcel 6 on Lajuenesse Avenue in Ile a la Crosse
  • Green Lake RCMP is located at 122 3rd Avenue in Green Lake.
  • Meadow Lake RCMP is located at 319 1st Avenue East in Meadow Lake.
  • Patuanak RCMP is located at 102 1st Street in Patuanak.
