Sophie Skoropat

January 20, 1934 – February 11, 2023

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Sophie Susan (nee Urbaniak) Skoropat on the morning of Saturday, February 11, 2023.

Sophie was born January 20, 1934 at Henribourg, SK where she later met and married William Skoropat.  They farmed and raised their family at Spruce Home and then retired to Prince Albert.

Left to treasure her memory are her children Mary Ann (Mike) Topping, Danny (Connie) Skoropat, and Karen (Jose Soto) Skoropat; as well as her five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The Funeral Service for Sophie will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert.

Donations in Sophie’s memory may be made to Alzheimer Society Of Saskatchewan Inc, 2550 12^th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1
