It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Mervin Louis Adam, late of Fond Du Lac, SK on January 3^rd, 2023, at the age of 73 years. Mervin was born on July 9^th, 1949, in Stony Rapids, SK to Eli & Angeline Adam. Mervin was predeceased by his parents Eli & Angeline Adam; his brothers Martin Adam & Baby Rudy; his sister Janet Isadore; his grandchildren Tristan Randhile & Doriah Adam; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John & Madeline Lidguerre; his brothers-in-law Edward Whitedeer, Edward Isadore, Alfred Bignose, Douglas Bruno, Richard Bignose, Dave Altenberg, August Lidguerre, Alice Lidguerre, Thomas Lidguerre, & Frank Lidguerre; & his sisters-in-law Judy (Leon) Mercredi, Pauline Naldzil, Eleanor (Clement) Pische, & Martha Lidguerre. A Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, January 5^th, 2023, at 6 PM at MacKenzie Chapel in Prince Albert, SK. A Wake Service will be held from Friday, January 6^th to Monday, January 9^th, 2023, at the Fond Du Lac Band Hall in Fond Du Lac, SK. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 9^th, 2023, at 3 PM at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows in Fond Du Lac, SK. The Officiant will be Father Paul Oshin. The Honourary Pallbearers are Mervin’s many friends from Wollaston Lake, Black Lake, Stony Rapids, Fond Du Lac, & many more throughout the North, and all those who shared in Mervin’s life. The Pallbearers are Joe Mercredi, Jane Mercredi, Billy John Pacquette, Andrew Isadore, Joe Martin, Felix Pacquette, Kevin Stalthanee, Albert Randhile, Cliff Blackmere (Stella), & Shane. The Interment will take place at the Fond Du Lac Cemetery in Fond Du Lac, SK.
