Manuel Arregui Beguiristain was born on May 1, 1934, in Aldatz, Navarra, Spain, and passed away peacefully on December 23, 2022, at Mont. St. Joseph Care Home, in Prince Albert, SK.
Manuel lived a full life. He did his service with the Spanish military where he was stationed in Morocco, later going to France for work. In 1965 Manuel moved to Canada to work in the logging and rail industry in British Columbia. He later moved to Prince Albert in 1969 where he met his wife Judy. He had a career as a foreman at Woodland Enterprises for over 20 years.
In 2001, Manuel and Judy decided to move back to Spain and lived there for 17 years before deciding to move back to Prince Albert.
Manuel enjoyed working in his garden, watching sports like soccer, baseball, hockey and football, betting on horseracing, playing cards, and spending time with his family and friends.
Manuel is predeceased by his parents, Miguel Tomas Arregui and Asuncion Beguiristain; his five sisters and three brothers; and his in-laws, Blanche Irene Vermette (Laviolette) and Urban Leonard Vermette. He will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends.
