Prince Albert Police part of impaired driving enforcement day
Earlier this month Prince Albert Police were part of a national traffic enforcement focus that saw 1,755 vehicles checked as officers looked for impaired drivers.
Prince Albert was one of 43 checkpoints were set up that also included Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Regina, Weyburn and Estevan police services.
The one-day targeted enforcement resulted in 13 charges of impaired driving for alcohol but also caught four drivers with drug-related impairment that ended up with roadside suspensions.
Another 11 suspensions were given out for alcohol-related impaired driving.
