Angelique Ray was born on February 7, 1939, in Pelican Narrows, SK, and passed away on December 9, 2022, in Saskatoon, SK, at the age of 83 years.

Angelique is survived by her loving family, her children, Nora (Allan) – Ernest (Aliyah), Derek; Florence (Kevin) – Kevin Jr, (Francine) – Aiden, Mandel, Kevin Conner, Carson; Amanda (Jeff) – Annika, Avaya, Aiyana, Jeffery Jr, Jason; Dwayne (Cara) – Dwayne Jr; Peter – Jenelle, Trent, Elron, Bianca, Junius, and Peter Jr, Mitchell; Emily – Dallen (Dillion), Rachel; Gerald (Sheila) – Chelsea, Haley, Katelynn, Shania, Sheena, Luke, Levi, Logan, Billy Linklater, Clarence Merasty, Clara Cook; her grandchildren, Michelle, Shawn, Larissa, Kaelyn, Bria, Robbie, Jean, Janessa, Baron, Mitchell, Jeffrey, Nigel, Virgil, Malikai, Mannix; her nieces and nephews, Larry, Ernest, Rose, Frances, Helen and Clara, Mike; as well as many other grandchildren, god children, chapans, nieces and nephews; her siblings: Magloire (Maire), Yvonne Fourhorns, Lorna Bear; her in-laws, Leonard Ray, Verna Merasty, Leonard Ray Sr, as well as many nieces and nephews, of Sandy Bay, Pelican Narrows, and surrounding communities.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernie Ray; her daughter, Ernestine Ray; her son, George Ray; parents, Moise and Suzette Merasty; sisters, Madeline Custer and Bertha Morin; Brothers: Leon Merasty, Peter Merasty, Philip Merasty, Henry Custer and Andrew Custer; in-laws, Philip Morin, Gabe and Susan Morin, Arthur and Harriet Ray, Angelique Merasty, Bill and Therese Morin, Adele Ray, Louis and Therese Ray, Thomas Fourhorns, Joe Cadottee, Mary-Ann Merasty, Therese Merasty, Kathleen McKay, Margaret Ballantyne, Gertie Montgrand, Bibian Bear, Frank and Rosie Ray; her best friend, Rosalie Daylight; son-in-law, Michael Bear; grandsons, Jeffery Bear, Dale Merasty, Jared Merasty; granddaughters, Melody Merasty; nieces, Bernice Custer and Sandra Custer; nephews, Martin Merasty, Roy Morin, Daniel Merasty, and Curtis Merasty.

The Prayer Service for Angelique will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held the evenings of Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at the residence of Angelique Ray, in Sandy Bay, SK; continued at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Kateri Hall, in Sandy Bay, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, in Sandy Bay, SK, with Fr. Heinner Paucar, OMI, officiating.
