P.A. man charged with attempted murder after serious assault

Prince Albert police are charging a 37-year-old man with attempted murder.

This stems from an incident on Dec. 2, where police responded to an assault complaint at a home in the 500 block of 5^th Avenue East, near Riverside School, in the early morning.

After investigating for nearly a week, Quentin George Gardiner was officially arrested on Dec. 8.

Along with being charged with attempted murder, Gardiner has also been charged with aggravated assault and breach of a court order.

He made his first court appearance at Prince Albert Provincial Court on Dec. 9 and was remanded to Dec. 14.
