Raymond Mineau
1947 ~ 2022

Raymond “Ray” Francis Mineau was born on October 28, 1947, in Windsor, ON. He passed away peacefully on November 30, 2022, surrounded by his family at the Victoria Hospital, in Prince Albert, SK.

Ray is survived by his wife, Kathy of 53 years; sons, David (Rose), Trevor (Carolyn); and his precious grandchildren, Jason (Naomi), Michael (Jordy), Kelsey, Megan, Jairus, Rebekah, and Elisa.

He was predeceased by his son, Jason James; his parents, Albert and Adeline Mineau; his in-laws, Harry and Catherine Moore; his sister, Mary; his brother, Myron; his special sister-in-law, Olive; and brothers-in-law, Danny and Jim.

Ray was known for his sense of humour, which he had until his last few hours. He was so proud of his family, and the love he had for his family was with him until the end. “He made sure he saw everyone before he passed away.” His family were his last thoughts.

Ray worked at PR Septic for 30 years, where he met many people, which included his best friends, Doug and Darcy Rae. While working at the lake, he enjoyed the outdoors, nature, taking the grandchildren to the beach, hiking, and family gatherings. “Every family special occasion with his family was like Christmas.” Ray also enjoyed watching his favourite hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The family would like to thank Dr. Dale Ardell and Dr. Bree Ardell, Anne Marie, Sharon, Candace, Dr. Aktar, the nurses and doctors of the ICU Unit, and the staff of the 6^th floor at the Victoria Hospital, Pastor Mensch and Ronnie Mensch.
