John Walter Henderson “Chucap”

August 23, 1947 – November 18, 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of John Henderson announce his passing on November 18, 2022 in Prince Albert, SK.  At the age of  75 year. John was born August 23th, 1947 to Edna Henderson and Charlie Muskego.

John leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Lucy Henderson (Nee Halkett), children: Cynthia Henderson, Mervin John Henderson, Conrad Henderson (Cindy), Miranda Henderson (Billy), Amanda Henderson, brother’s: Edward Henderson, Dunlop Muskego, Peter Muskego, David Muskego, sister’s : Nora Sutherland, Lily Dillon, Beverly Muskego, aunt :Betsy Keewatin (Gordon), 10 grandchildren – special grandson Ivan Henderson, 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

John was predeceased by his parent’s: Edna Henderson, Charlie Muskego, his in-law’s: Robert & Agnes Halkett (Nee Bird) , brother: Simon Muskego, sister: Mable Henderson, Ida Henderson, Lillian Naytowhow, uncles: Simeon Halkett, Allan Bird, Cornelias Ballantyne Sr., brother in laws: Issac C. Halkett, Leonard Halkett, Gordon Halkett and paternal grandparents: Nathan & Rachel Henderson.

Wake Service will commence Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. at the Henderson Residence. Wake Service on Thursday, November 24, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. at Little Red River School. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022at Little Red River Reserve School, Little Red River Reserve, SK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
