The results from last week’s councilor elections have now been finalized.
While many seats were acclaimed following the nomination process, a few seats were still contested.
Here are the results in the Prince Albert region:
Prince Albert
Div. 2 – Tyler Hazelwood (acclaimed)
Div. 4 – Richard Wilson (acclaimed)
Div. 6 – Donovan Brule was elected with 32 votes. Runner-up Melanie Markling received two votes.
Buckland
Div. 2 – Jason Zalewski (acclaimed)
Div. 4 – Melina Lavoie (acclaimed)
Div. 6 – Bill Hayes (acclaimed)
Garden River
Div. 2 – Larry Adamko elected with 33 votes. Brian Snell received 15 votes.
Div. 4 – Clint Nagy (acclaimed)
Div. 5 – Bob Stacey (acclaimed)
Div. 6 – Rene Piche elected with 22 votes. John Kowalik received 19 votes.
Paddockwood
Div. 2 – Don Zacharias (acclaimed)
Div. 4 – Brand Valkenburg elected with 27 votes. Cliff Aspvik received 12 votes.
Div. 6 – Elwin Brons won with 62 votes. Greg Nolan received 20 votes and Tom McKnight received 11 votes.
St Louis
Div. 2 – Kurtis Gaudet (acclaimed)
Div. 4 – Incumbent Kelly Njaa (acclaimed)

Div. 3 By-Election- Sid Kernohan elected with 25 votes. Robert Bannerman received 21 votes.

Div. 6 – Gordon King elected with 45 votes. Terry Lorensen received 16 votes.
