Hugh is survived by his wife, Fern; his children, Trenton (Melissa) Ferguson, Marilyn Ferguson, Claude Rousson, Kevin (Tina) Rousson, Anita (Kevin) Goring; his sister, Lynn Tunstall; his sister-in-law, Joan Ferguson and Margaret Ferguson; his brother-in-law, Evert Whelan; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Alymer & Zella Ferguson; his son, Vernon Ferguson; his brother, Luther; his sisters, Isabelle, Louis and Eleanora; and his brother, Burt.
