P.A. police make arrest on Canada-wide warrant after disturbance Monday
Prince Albert Police have arrested a 39-year-old woman who had a Canada-wide warrant out for her arrest, and a 30-year-old man, after responding to a disturbance on Monday.
Just before 7 p.m. on Monday, police received a report of a man who said he had a gun and uttered threats to a woman at a business on 15th Street West and 2nd Avenue.
Police said two people tried to flee from the scene on bicycles as officers arrived, but were apprehended without issue shortly after. Police also found a sawed-off shotgun.
Patricia Lee Sewap from Prince Albert was previously wanted for breaching statutory release conditions. She now faces a charge of obstruction of a peace officer after attempting to avoid police during Monday’s incident.
