On Sunday, August 14, 2022, Lynne Towell passed away suddenly at her home in Saskatoon, SK.
Lynne was born on September 1, 1953, in Prince Albert, SK. In 1962, her family relocated to Houston, Texas, for her father to pursue a career in medicine. Following in her father’s footsteps, Lynne later secured a nursing degree from the University of North Texas. After completing her education, she returned to Prince Albert and married Ross Neurauter. They raised three children together there: Kristy, Heather, and David, all of whom quickly became the centre of her universe. Though Lynne struggled with health issues in the years that followed, she loved her family with all her heart and dedicated everything she could to them.
Lynne will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, her infectious laughter, and her razor-sharp wit. Though she was taken from us far too soon, she will remain alive in the hearts of everyone who had the great privilege of knowing her.
Lynne was predeceased by her parents, Betty and Vern Towell, and her grandparents, Elsie and Harold Kemp.
Lynne is survived by her children, Kristy (Anthony Toljanich), Heather (Wayne Gibb), and David (Michael Thievin); her grandchildren, Jak and Max; and her furry best friend, Abby (Abigail). She is also survived by her siblings, Brenda (Dennis Tweedy), Brian Towell (Lee), and David (Charlotte Deison).
Lynne’s memorial will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in the Windsor Chapel at 704 Windsor Street, Saskatoon, SK.
Family are invited to also attend Lynne’s interment on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 1:00 pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Prince Albert, SK.
