Ruby May Stewart passed away peacefully on May 11, 2022.

Ruby will forever be cherished by her best friend and husband of 61 years, Allan; children, Jo-Ann (Richard), Angela (Greg); and grandchildren, Jesse (Tara), Hannah and Jackson. She will also be missed by her sister Vera, brothers, Orville, Alvin, Pat, extended family and friends.

Ruby was born in Star City, Saskatchewan. She graduated from Robertson College, began working at Melfort Hospital and transitioned to banking until her retirement from the Credit Union in P.A.  Ruby & Allan were married in 1961 and spent most of their years together in Prince Albert. Ruby was a woman of many passions including, reading, cottaging & fishing with Allan, gardening, and keeping the traditions of her upbringing through cooking, preserves of fruit, jam, fish and every pickle imaginable. Above all, she loved her family and was fiercely proud of her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Ruby’s Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Friday, August 19, 2022, in the Arbor Lounge at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. A private family interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens, Prince Albert, SK.
