Hilda Reding
1925 ~ 2022

Hilda Reding was born on January 14, 1925, in Paddockwood, SK, and passed away on August 10, 2022, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 97 years.

Hilda was an active member in the Prince Albert community. She was a founding CWL member of St Michael Parish. She also opened her home to high school boarders from Northern Communities so that they could attend school in Prince Albert. From there, Hilda transitioned into caring for people with special needs. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Guide’s Association, the Prince Albert Exhibition, a member of the Lioness Club, and Vintage Power Machines. In her down time, Hilda loved to cook and garden.

Hilda is survived by her loving family, her son, Rick; her grandchildren, Melissa and Jason Reding; her daughter, Brenda; her grandchildren, Miranda and Kirby Reding; and numerous nieces, nephews, boarders, and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, John Reding in 1989; her parents, Augusts & Hildegard Wyler; her two sisters.

The Visitation for Hilda will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Monday, August 15, 2022, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK; the Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at St. Michael Parish, in Prince Albert, SK, with the Very Reverend Maurice Fiolleau, Vicar General officiating.
