New Regina stadium unlikely to ever get a roof

The new Mosiac stadium for Regina will be “roof ready”, but it's unlikely you will ever see one.

The city of Regina, the province and the Roughriders do not have the additional 200 million dollars minimum required.

Mayor Michael Fougere also points out that in the future they would simply not have the time in between football seasons.

“12 to 14 months to actually install the roof on there…so in a practical sense it's not going to happen.”
